Who We Are

Here at Jesus Rescue International Church (JRIC), it is our ongoing mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ far and wide while providing a safe place for his disciples. We are a non-denominational church dedicated to the teachings of prayer, faith, love and service through the word of God. Through our undeniably positive and warm atmosphere, we embrace individuals from all walks of life and welcome them to join us to learn more about their identity in Christ.

Founded by Pastor Kingsley (Goodman) Nwokoma and co-operated with Pastor Yinka Oladeru, JRIC was originally established in Katy, TX on Easter day in 2019. Although the original service sessions were conducted in a hotel conference room, JRIC quickly became renowned for its supportive environment that exuded love, grace, faith, and a strong sense of family. The global pandemic pushed JRIC to sign a lease as hotels were shutting down, and we’ve been at our current location ever since!

We invite you to Join Us on Sundays for worship, prayer, and connection. As it is our goal to stay active, present, and helpful, we are consistently on the lookout for opportunities to serve our community. For more information about our JRIC culture, we invite you to Contact Us at any time or join us for Sunday Worship!

Our Pastors

Pastor Kingsley (Goodman) Nwokoma

When asked about a pivotal moment in his life, Pastor Kingsley (Goodman) Nwokoma reflected and dedicated that title to an encounter he had with an angel as a young man. He grew up as the black sheep in the family as he was known for challenging Christianity and acting out on every impulse. It was on one of his wild nights that Kingsley fell victim to an accident that could have been deadly, and he spent three months in the hospital recovering. An angel, in the form of his brother-in-law, visited him and presented him with a book, and instructed him to read it.

As it turns out, the book was The Triumphant Church by Kenneth E. Hagin, and Kingsley read every page of it. Dedicating his life to Christ and embarking on a new journey to Christianity, he traveled to the United States, where he graduated from Rhema Bible Training College. Notably, he also holds a degree in Philosophy. While attending school in America, Kingsley met the love of his life, Dr. Pascaline Nwokoma, Pharm D. and MHA.

From the moment they were introduced, Kingsley admired Pascaline for her strong faith and dedication to God’s word. Although she lived in Brooklyn, NY at the time, Pascaline resigned from her job and moved to Oklahoma, where they got married. They now live in Katy, Texas where they raise their two sons and dedicate their lives to the Jesus Rescue International Church (JRIC). Together, they are passionate about rescuing the lost and providing faith-driven services to the poor, youth, and even single individuals, as well as those experiencing marital challenges, divorce, addiction, or illness.

When he isn’t at the church, Kingsley enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children. He especially enjoys and is heavily influenced by the Christian teachings of Kenneth E. Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and Bishop David Oyedepo. As the last child of 21 children in his royal family, Kingsley always demonstrated traits of a fierce leader—even before he leaned into his Christian journey). As he is dedicated to walking in faith every single day, Kingsley can often be found meditating or even reading to further his connection with God.

Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, without error in the original language.

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is known as the Trinity.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His complete conquest over the power of Satan, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His sure return.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling presence enables believers to live godly lives full of power.

We believe the church consists of all those who truly believe in Jesus Christ and His atoning death, and who trust in Him as their Lord and Savior. We believe that God works through local churches to establish His kingdom on earth.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of the lost, and that this salvation is wholly by grace through faith.
